ayecon — the retina compatible theme for the iPhone — has now made its way to the iPad in full Retina display glory.

As we covered in our exclusive hands on video preview of the theme, it has shaped up to be one of the, if not the most impressive theme currently available for the iPad.

If you're rocking a new iPad that's jailbroken, then head over to Cydia's BigBoss repo where you can download it for $2.99.

Be sure to let us know what you think about it in the comments below.

‘ayecon’ adds insanely detailed icons to the iPad

ayecon — the high resolution WinterBoard theme from renowned designer, Surenix — is making its way to the iPad. Perhaps the worst kept secret in the theming community, ayecon for the iPad is very real, and it's coming soon to a jailbroken iPad near you.

If you're at all familiar with the small screen version of ayecon, then you will know just what to expect from the iPad version. Not much has changed here, but as you know, that's entirely a good thing. Full video preview inside...

ayecon WinterBoard theme released on Cydia

[tube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrE8qxkG9ik[/tube]

ayecon, the highly anticipated WinterBoard theme from popular iOS theme designer, Surenix, just made its debut on Cydia's BigBoss repo. To take advantage of the theme, you must have a Retina enabled iPhone or iPod touch, and be running iOS 5 or above.

As you no doubt noticed in our hands-on walkthrough, ayecon is a stunner in the looks department. Although I think our video does a good job at displaying the crazy amount of detail possessed by ayecon, it really needs to be witnessed in person to be totally appreciated.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not nearly as into theming my iPhone as I used to be, but ayecon has helped rekindle my interest somewhat. You can purchase it now for $2.99 on Cydia's BigBoss repo. Let us know what you think about it in the comments.

WinterBoard receives major update

WinterBoard. It seems like just mentioning the name of the utility can send shivers down the spine of jailbreakers everywhere. In fact, a lot of folks won't install a particular app or tweak of it requires installing the unpopular themer.

Siri gets a HAL 9000 theme

"Good evening, Dave."

Yes, the inevitable has finally happened, we're just curious why it took so long.

The Best Looking Siri Theme Yet

Neurotech Siri is an absolutely amazing looking theme for Siri, and really, the pictures and video don't totally do it justice.

This is a WinterBoard theme that features almost 300 frames of animation on the Siri logo, and you can tell from the fluidity and smoothness when invoking Siri.

Other Siri themes have changed the mic color, or added an Apple logo, but those all pale in comparison to this...

How to Fix White or Missing Icons on Your Jailbroken iPhone?

Ever since I jailbroke my iPhone 4S using Absinthe, it has been behaving a little weird, sometimes displaying white icons or even transparent icons for certain applications. It seems that this issue only affects Apple's stock applications such as the Phone app, Calendar, etc.

I can't really pinpoint the issue. Is it because of Absinthe? Or is it because of a package I have installed from Cydia? While I'm not really sure what causes this problem, I have found a simple trick to fix the blank or missing icon dilemma...
