iOS 10 Lock screen status bar teaser 001

Just 24 hours following the fourth developer-only betas of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS 10 and watchOS 3, Apple on Tuesday morning has made the latest beta of iOS 10 available to public beta testers who are singed on the Apple Beta Software Program. If your device is registered for public betas, runs a prior iOS 10 beta and has a proper configuration profile installed, iOS 10 Public Beta 3 should appear in Settings → General → Software Update.

iOS 10 Public Beta 3 and developer-only iOS 10 beta 4 contain the same features.

iOS 10 brings more than a hundred gender diverse emoji, introduces new keyboard sounds, removes haptic feedback when locking the device, brings back the date to the Notification Center sections, lets you use Quick Reply with full screen apps, aside from more than a dozen fixes and tweaks.

    • Scotow

      Where ?

      • Eliijah Moss

There is no way to enable it. They removed it in beta 4 (public beta 3 if you are on it). Apple is doing this to test out different features.

      • Scotow

Oh … Ok, thanks for the info.

  • Eoin

Has there been any mention of changes to keyboard shortcuts to make them closer to those of OSX? The main ones I’m thinking of are: Command+Click/Tap to open a link in a new tab in Safari
Command+[ or ] to move between tabs in Safari

Anyone jailbroken that just gets stuck searching for OTA update?

    • If you’re jail broken you mustn’t update via OTA otherwise bad things will happen :O

How about the option to view Notification Center in widgets/today view by default like we used to in iOS 9 and before without the need to swipe down and then left to see widgets. Because I only use Notification Center for widgets and nothing else.

Also, please, and option to disable Voice Control. I mean if I disable Siri, means that I don’t want a “voice assistant.” Simple on/off switch. Thanks.
