Inbox, a gesture-driven email app for the iPhone and iPad by the Gmail team which was born out of Google’s acquisition of Sparrow, was updated on the App Store today with enhanced snooze options for package tracking updates, restaurant and event reservations, calendar invites and a couple other types of emails.

The feature makes it easy to snooze an email message to the day before the event, knowing your email will come back at just the right time. These enhanced snoozing capability is in addition to custom snooze times which were introduced back in March.

“Snooze in Inbox is getting a bit more convenient—when you snooze an email that has dates and times, like event confirmations or shipping notifications,” the Gmail team said.

You’ll notice a new one-tap option to snooze to exactly the emails until the exact right time, such as the day of your concert, the morning your package will arrive or more.

The enhanced snooze options are available for package tracking updates, restaurant and event reservations, calendar invites, flight confirmations, hotel reservations and rental car reservations.

The app is now open to everyone.

Before today, Inbox was available on an invite-only basis.

Just recently, the software was refreshed with a few new nice-to-haves, including a handy Undo Send feature, Trip Bundles, new gestures and more.

The 70-megabyte app requires an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iOS 7.0 or later. Inbox is optimized for the iPhone 5/5s/5c, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screen resolutions and currently lacks a WatchKit component.
