Sliderz: customize the “slide to unlock” text and more

Sliderz Featured

Sliderz is a newly released jailbreak tweak that allows you to customize the text associated with the various sliders featured in iOS. The most obvious slider is the “slide to unlock” slider found on the device’s Lock screen, but there are other sliders like “slide to power off” that can be customized with your own witty text as well. Take a look inside as we detail Sliderz in our video walkthrough…

Once you install the tweak, you’ll notice a new preference panel located in the Settings app. This preference panel allows you to customize the various “slide to” texts. You’ll find a setting for “slide to answer” and for bulletins like SMS messages along with the slide to unlock and slide to power off texts. Lastly, you’ll find a setting to disable the Lock screen camera nub.

While it is true that you can perform many of these tasks using simple plist edits via iFile, Sliderz makes the job a fairly brainless task. Mosey on over to Cydia’s BigBoss repo, and you can download Sliderz for $0.99. What do you think? Would you drop a buck for Sliderz?
