Cover Flow is a nice feature, but that’s more due to its visual appeal than actual functionality is concerned. If you hate Cover Flow, then you’ll be happy to know that it can be easily disabled by means of this new jailbreak tweak.

NoCoverFlow is a tweak from jailbreak developer, Ryan Petrich. With a quick installation, it will easily rid your stock Music app of Cover Flow if you so desire to do so. Take a look at our video walkthrough inside to see NoCoverFlow in action.

NoCoverFlow is a simple tweak that will allow you to view content in a traditional list view while perusing content in landscape mode. The tweak is a simple install and go, as there or no options or settings to deal with.

If you’ve been looking for a way to disable CoverFlow on your jailbroken device, then look no further — NoCoverFlow just works. You can find it on Cydia’s BigBoss repo free of charge. Let me know what you think about it in the comment section below.

  • I’ve been using this for awhile now, and I love it. I hate cover flow.

    What’s wrong with cover flow?

    • it lacks sufficient navigation controles for you music for some reason only have plan and pause..

  • FINALLY!…now just need iOS 6 jailbreak

  • Why would I ???…. Its awesome…;)

i need jailbreak iOS 6 on iPhone 4S

  • Now all I need is a JB for the iPhone 5 to use this. I hate cover flow. I wish there was a native way to disable it. I prefer the list view for my music. I don’t ant to have to scroll through a lot of my music cover art trying to find something. Some of my music is from back in the day prior to iTunes and didn’t have cover art so it shows up blank anyway and I don’t feel like spending the time looking up art for it.

Coverflow got lind of glitchy after ios 5

  • is it just me or do the new jailbreak tweaks get more and more useless?

Why would I want to disable Cover flow? In my opinion it is the most beautiful thing in iOS.
