Not only is Ryan Petrich a top tier iPhone developer, but he’s got a sense of humor as well.

His latest tweak, entitled UpsideDown, is proof of that. Just as its name states, UpsideDown will make most of the apps on the iPhone orient themselves upside down, making for a great prank idea for your friends and family…

The only downside to UpsideDown is that the victim’s device must be jailbroken. Chances are if a person is wise enough to jailbreak, they’ll immediate recognize your tomfoolery; though, I guess it doesn’t hurt to try.

UpsideDown is a free download available on Ryan Petrich’s beta repo: http://rpetri.ch/repo/.

Much funnier to do this to someone on a computer lol

    • I know some nVidia graphics card software allows screen rotation.

you can just turn the device and lock the rotation… -_-

The majority of the apps on the iPhone don’t support rotating upside down.
The ones that do, such as Evernote, annoy the crap out of me.
But, try going into apps and turning the phone upside down. Won’t happen (for most)

This is perfect for my best friend hahah he has his iPhone jailbroken because of me. Otherwise he doesn’t know much about adding/removing tweaks :p

Would be beautiful if it were changed every two seconds from the normal mode to this mode ^.^

  • But this’ll require the iDevice to be jailbroken. And chances are, if the person knows what jailbreaking is, he/she will easily see through this.
