Health and fitness has been a major focal point for Apple for quite some time, especially as it relates to the features baked into several of its products. That remains the case with watchOS 6, the newest version of the mobile operating system for the Apple Watch, which introduces Cycle Tracking to the mix.
Part of the many announcements made related to watchOS 6 at this year's WWDC, Apple also talked about fitness and how the company is making changes to help Apple Watch users keep better tabs on their health and fitness.

One of my biggest beefs with the Apple Watch for the longest time has been the lack of a native Calculator app much like what you’d expect to find on your iPhone’s Home Screen. Fortunately, Apple is finally resolving this issue with watchOS 6, which Apple announced today at WWDC 2019.
As shown in the screenshot example above, watchOS 6 will incorporate a full-blown calculator interface into the Apple Watch, allowing you to perform basic mathematic calculations right from the comfort of your wrist. The interface should look mostly familiar to iOS users, as it gets many of its design cues from the iPhone’s Calculator app.
During its highly anticipated WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple announced watchOS 6 with a number of new features and improvements. Among those features are new watch faces, hourly audio chimes—such as birds chirping and streaming audio APIs. Apple has also added new apps such as Calculator and Audio Books, and helped the Watch gain further independence from the iPhone.
While iOS gets the lion's share of attention when it comes to betas, Apple is not sleeping on its other big operating systems, too. The company is moving forward with developer betas for tvOS and watchOS.
Health Canada has issued active licenses for the ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 following its US debut last December, as well as for the irregular heart rhythm notification feature.
