At long last, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 hits App Store

Konami on Wednesday announced that its official Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 mobile game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has made its global debut across 150 countries. The game is available free of charge with non-compulsory In-App Purchases.

Optimized for a realistic football experience on mobile with swipe-to-pass and tap-to-shoot mechanics, the soccer simulation is built on the same game engine used in the original Pro Evolution Soccer console series, providing a fun and realistic soccer experience on-the-go.

As part of the launch, special scouts and agents will be available for a limited time through several in-game events.

Beginning today, you can earn players with high levels of shooting skills, like Lionel Messi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, by participating in the Great Finishers event. Another event, called Step Up Challenge, lets you play against COM teams under certain conditions and receive prizes based on the number of wins earned.

Kick-Off Campaign bonuses will continue to be available through 4:59 UTC on August 23.

Kick-Off Campaign gives PES fans the opportunity to gain rare, minimum silver status-guaranteed players from partner clubs FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool FC.

Konami’s popular trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links hitting iOS this winter

Konami today announced that its popular card trading game, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, will be launching on the iPhone and iPad this winter.

Based on both the manga Yu-Gi-Oh!, which was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1996, and the fifth iteration of the Yu-Gi-Oh!, the game promises to kindle the spirit of Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba and other famous characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise in competitive card battle action.

Konami’s Star Wars Force Collection fights its way into App Store

iOS gamers are having a field day today. First 2K Games released its iOS-exclusive 2K Drive. Next, Electronic Arts updated Real Racing 3 with seven generations of the legendary Porsche 911 and full iOS 7 compatibility. And finally rival Activision followed suit by unexpectedly unleashing a brand new Call of Duty game.

Star Wars: Force Collection hitting App Store on September 4

Konami yesterday announced it will be releasing Star Wars: Force Collection on iOS and Android on September 4.

It's going to be the first Star Wars digital card battle game, Konami said. Star Wars: Force Collection will challenge players to collect over over 230 character cards and discover special vehicle blueprints to create the ultimate Battle Formation comprised of the famous aircrafts like X-Wings, AT-ATs and Tie Fighters.

Once your deck is fully built, you'll be set to challenge rivals in strategic battles, solve quests, participate in massive in-game events, level up among the Jedi or Sith Orders and more. Go past the fold for the full reveal...
