Jailbreak Apps & Tweaks

These are the latest jailbreak apps and tweaks available for your iPhone or iPad. We save you time by highlighting only the best tweaks.

Take control of your iPhone’s Home screen folders with Foldy

If you use folders to organize the plethora of apps residing on your iOS device’s Home screen, then you’ve likely come to realize just how monotonous they can look, especially in large numbers.

A newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed Foldy by iOS developer Thomz aims to resolve this concern by offering jailbreakers novel ways of personalizing the look and feel of their Home screen folders.

ColorfulNotifs makes iOS’ notification banners more colorful

If you’re enjoying the perks of having a jailbroken iOS 13 device thanks to checkra1n or unc0ver and you’re looking for something to get you started in the interface customization department, then one thing you might want to check out is a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed ColorfulNotifs by iOS developer neoney.

As you may have inferred already from the tweak’s somewhat conspicuous name, ColorfulNotifs applies custom color schemes to your handset’s incoming notification banners.

This tweak prevents you from missing Apple Watch notifications when you’re heavily dressed

One thing I love about having an Apple Watch is being tapped on the wrist when all my important notifications come through. But in certain situations, such as when wearing a winter coat with long and heavy sleeves that cover your wrists, feeling those subtle taps can be nearly impossible.

Spearheading a solution to this problem is a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called Winter Mode for Apple Watch by iOS developer Ayden Panhuyzen. Once installed, this tweak forces both your Apple Watch and iPhone to notify you about any incoming notifications simultaneously.

FloatyTab introduces a customizable floating Tab Bar to your iPhone

As you use apps on your iPhone, you’ll often notice a bar of tabs at the bottom of your handset’s display. This is generally referred to as the Tab Bar, and it hosts shortcuts to different sections of whatever app you might be using.

Those who’ve been using the iPhone for several years would be able to tell you that the Tab Bar hasn’t changed much since the original version of iOS. For that reason, a newly released jailbreak tweak called FloatyTab by iOS developer Dylan West aims to bring changes that are both functional and aesthetically-pleasing.

Compactor brings the Apple Watch’s font to your pwned iPhone or iPad

If you have an Apple Watch, then you’ve undoubtedly noticed that it sports an entirely different system font than your iPhone does. Typically, you’d need to install performance-impacting or battery-guzzling add-ons to change your system font, but with a new and free jailbreak tweak called Compactor by iOS developer Jamie Bishop, you can bring the Apple Watch’s native font to your iPhone without these ill side-effects.

As depicted in the screenshot examples above, the Apple Watch’ system font, also known as SF Compact, is both smaller and more legible than the iPhone’s native system font.

This new tweak lets you colorize the AirPods/AirPods Pro connect interface

If you’re jailbroken on iOS 13 and you also happen to own a pair of AirPods or AirPods Pro, then you might enjoy the added customization benefits of a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called AirPort (iOS 13) by iOS developer Boo.

If you haven’t already noticed in the screenshot examples above, AirPort (iOS 13) enables users to personalize the appearance of their AirPods/AirPods Pro connection interface. Options include colorizing the interface, the text, and the AirPods/AirPods Pro themselves.

DigitalBattery13: A customizable battery indicator for notched iPhones

I was always the sort of person to enable the Battery Percentage option on all of my older iPhones, but since the introduction of notched handsets starting with the iPhone X in 2017, Apple appears to have nixed this feature from all but the non-notched handsets, requiring you to open Control Center to see a numeric battery percentage.

Those looking for a better battery indicator solution on their notch-equipped iPhones may want to try out a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called DigtalBattery13 by iOS developer Asterix. Just as the name implies, this tweak gives your handset an actual numeric battery readout as opposed to just an icon.

Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Dots 2, Gravitation, Springtomize 5, and more…

Hot off the heels of an updated unc0ver jailbreak with support for iOS 13.0-13.3 on A12(X)-A13 devices, it is now possible to jailbreak the bulk of all iPhones or iPads in circulation with either checkra1n or unc0ver. The only exception would be A12 or newer devices running iOS 13.3.1.

If you have a jailbreakable device, then you may want to find some add-ons to go along with it. In this piece, we'll discuss our favorite jailbreak tweaks released between Monday, February 17th and Sunday February 23rd. As usual, we'll kick things off by talking about our favorite releases and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Give Control Center a rounder aesthetic with RoundedCC

Those looking for a quick and easy way to give their newly jailbroken handset a way to stand out from the crowd might enjoy the likes of a newly released jailbreak tweak called RoundedCC by iOS developer neoney.

As most would probably infer from the tweak’s rather conspicuous name, RoundedCC gives Control Center a much rounder aesthetic. It replaces much of the interface’s rectangular features and either transforms them into circles or eliminates most of the straight lines.

Runaway displays your current internet speed in the Status Bar

Whenever you browse the internet on your iPhone and wonder why things aren’t quite loading as quickly as they should be, you might be inclined to download an internet speed-testing app to determine whether it’s a problem with the app or with your internet connection. But if you’re jailbroken, this additional step may not be entirely necessary.

Say hello to Runaway, a newly released and free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer ned that incorporates a convenient network speed indicator just beneath the Status Bar’s time display on any notched iPhone, such as the iPhone X and newer.

Sileo Team launches Diatrus’ Cydia fork, permitting Cydia & Sileo on the same device

Sileo and Cydia icons.

If you’re using the checkra1n jailbreak and you’ve been on the fence about using the Sileo Team’s brand-new installer to get Sileo on your iPhone or iPad because of its conflicts with the pre-installed Cydia package manager, then we’ve got good news for you!

With the help of prominent Sileo porter Diatrus, the Sileo Team has officially launched a new Cydia fork on its GetSileo repository that will allow checkra1n devices to run both Cydia and Sileo side-by-side on the same device using the same version of APT.
