Apple Books is the new name for the iBooks app for iOS. First announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the update includes many improvements that should make buying and reading books more fun and yes, more accessible too. Here's a first look at Apple Books on iOS 12.

iOS 12’s Face ID supports alternate looks that may be used to unlock iPhone X with two faces

While iOS 12 does not actually bring out official support for allowing multiple people to register their face with Face ID on a single iPhone X device, nor does it enable horizontal unlock as previously thought, customers are now permitted to at least set up an alternate appearance—a feature that can effectively be used to have an iPhone X recognize a second person.

Apple on Monday unveiled the next major software update for its iPhones and iPads: iOS 12. The update brings about a number of new features and improvements, including faster performance, group FaceTime calling with up to 32 people, tons of new stuff for AR and Animoji, and much more.

Apple introduces new colors for Apple Watch bands and iPhone cases

In addition to all of the software announcements made today, Apple also introduced new colorways for its line of Apple Watch bands and iPhone cases. The summer-themed shades are Peach, Sky Blue and Marine Green, and you can find them in the silicone Apple Watch Sport Bands, as well as the silicone cases for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X.
