Continuing with its slew of announcements on Monday, Apple has revealed its new original video subscription service: Apple TV+. The company says the service will feature “a brand new slate of programming from the world’s most celebrated creative artists,” ad-free and on demand.
We’re following along live with Apple’s ‘It’s show time’ media event, and Tim Cook has just made the first big announcement: Apple News+. As the name suggests, it’s a premium news service that offers access to over 300 magazines, subscriptions for digital outlets like TechCrunch and theSkimm, and more traditional outlets like Wall Street Journal and LA Times.

There’s a new MacBook Air, with Retina display, a new Mac mini for the first time in several years, and of course the powerful new iPad Pro. As expected, Apple has announced an update for its iPad Pro this morning at its New York-based event. The new features include an edge-to-edge ‘Liquid Retina’ display (similar to the iPhone XR), Face ID, and an all-new A12X Bionic CPU, which Apple says is faster than 92% of all portable PCs.
