Since Steve Jobs passed away last year, fans have been coming up with new ways to pay homage to the long-time CEO. Some folks have written tributes, and others turned out at Apple Stores to pay their respects.
But a theme designer, who calls himself monkystyle, took a different approach. He created a mic replacement for Siri so that jailbroken users can both customize the digital assistant, and pay homage to Steve. Introducing Stevi...
According to the rumor mill, the iPad 3 is going to employ some pretty amazing features. We've heard it could contain everything from a high resolution Retina display, to a new processor, and a 5MP camera. There has even been talk of it having LTE.
A lot of folks, however, have wondered how Apple would be able to maintain the tablet's $499 entry price point with so many high-end components. Well according to some new evidence, it couldn't...
DataMonitor is a free tweak that puts nearly every technical facet about your device right at your fingertips.
That's not hyperbole, I've never seen a jailbreak app so thorough in providing technical information about an iOS device before.
Best of all it's free and available for download now...
Yesterday we told you how to dismiss Siri with your voice. Today, we're going to show you how to dismiss Siri with a Swipe.
SwipeSiri is a free jailbreak tweak available for Siri enabled devices that allows you to do just that.
Check out our video coverage of SwipeSiri inside...
It looks as if things are becoming quite crowded and heated in the "virtual assistant" space.
A recent TechCrunch report says that Apple is planning to remove Evi from the App Store because it violates Apple's terms and conditions.
The violation? Evi is too similar to Siri...
SiriBoard is a simple jailbreak tweak that places a shortcut to Siri directly on your iPhone's SpringBoard.
This will allow you to launch Siri from any Home screen page, or even place the shortcut into your dock or in a folder.
Personally, I think holding the Home button is the most efficient way to launch Siri, but perhaps you feel otherwise?
Apple is sitting on top of the world right now. It has the most popular handset and tablet on the market, it broke nearly every company sales record last quarter, and it's currently the most valuable corporation in the world.
The company's real accomplishment, however, is how quickly it has risen to the top. Less than two years ago Apple's market cap was only $200 billion. And now it's teetering around the $500 billion mark. But how long can it keep up this ridiculous pace?
After selling more than 37 million iPhones last quarter, Apple seems unstoppable. Not only did it break its company record by more than 15 million handsets, but the feat also made Apple the top smartphone manufacturer in the world.
But The Wall Street Journal has come across an interesting weakness in Apple's game plan. It seems the company's handset sales aren't doing very well in countries where wireless carriers don't offer subsidies on smartphones...

As you may have heard, Adobe's Photoshop Touch has been released officially for the iPad 2, and we're happy to report that it looks very promising judging from our initial walkthrough.
This is definitely one of the, if not the deepest photo editing apps we've ever used on a tablet, and I think the majority of Adobe fans and Photoshop users in general will be pleasantly surprised with the interface and design.
Photoshop Touch is iPad 2 only, and can be purchased from the App Store for $9.99. Take a look and tell us what you think.
Since the jailbreak community formed sometime in late 2007, we've seen a number of "App Store alternatives." I can think of Icy, Cydia, Rock Your iPhone, and Installer just off the top of my head.
Now it looks like we could soon be adding another option into the mix: iTweak. The new store describes itself as a 'Cydia alternative' where jailbreakers will be available to find all of their favorite tweaks, themes and utilities...
Saturday night, Adobe launched its new Photoshop Touch for iPad app into the App Store in Australia , New Zealand and more, but quickly pulled the app shortly after. We assume someone pulled the trigger a little early.
Tonight, Photoshop Touch for iPad has made a reappearance in the App Store, priced at the same $9.99. As a refresher, Photoshop Touch looks like the perfect photo editor on the iPad...
As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple has started airing a new commercial this weekend starring its new iCloud service.
The advert, which does not include any spoken words, does a great job of demonstrating iCloud's capabilities to the not-so-tech-saavy general public...
