Weight, size, and battery life: iPhone X vs iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7

Rather than announcing just one new iPhone this year with two different screen sizes, Apple shook things up by announcing an entirely new iPhone X with a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge OLED display alongside their typical 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone models.

There’s bound to be some confusion about some of the most important specs between the devices, so in this piece, we’ll talk about the differences in weight, dimensions, and battery life as we do every year.

How Apple Watch Series 3’s tech specs compare to Series 2

Apple unveiled its all-new Apple Watch Series 3 last week alongside the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, and while they were clear that it would become the flagship model of their popular smartwatch, they weren’t clear about how it stacks up to the current Apple Watch Series 2.

In this piece, we’ll go over the tech specs of each so that you can compare them side by side and choose what one is right for you.

iOS 11 is arriving tomorrow, here are your official release notes

iOS 11 is scheduled to release tomorrow, Tuesday, September 19, ahead of the iPhone 8 launch on Friday, September 22. While Apple's latest and greatest operating system drops support for 32-bit apps and non-64-bite hardware like iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c, the great news is that any 64-bit Apple device that runs iOS 10 can now run iOS 11 as well.

X-Doria updates case line for iPhone X

With new iPhones on the way, it is time to start the search for a protective case. Rounded up is a look at the updated X-Doria case line. X-Doria gave me an early look at their new device cases, which it labeled for iPhone 7s and iPhone 8. While the naming is a little off, it is safe to assume the dimensions are correct; however, I cannot personally verify this until my new iPhone is in hand.

The cases are all sturdy and offer six-sided protection, with drop ratings as well. For an affordable case option for your expensive new device, check out the new features.

iPhone X flagship advertising wallpapers

This past week the iPhone X was announced on stage by Tim Cook and company. Based on the availability of iPhone 8's, it is clear most people are waiting for the newest flagship device in November. Each time a new device is launched, Apple uses a wallpaper just for that single device in most of its advertising. I received many requests for these wallpapers and thanks to two iDB readers, I can post them for you today!
