I had this issue for a while on my MacBook Air where there would constantly be a progress bar below the LaunchPad icon. Typically, this progress bar means something is downloading, but after checking, I couldn't find anything being installed on my Mac, so I figured the problem had to be deeper than that. In this post, I will share with you a few things you can try if you are facing the same issue.

Another week, another steady flow of new tweaks. We're still waiting for that one tweak that could potentially take the crown of best tweak of the year, but in the meantime, we'll remain grateful for what we have.
Slightly off topic, if you haven't yet, you should listen to this week's episode of Let's Talk Jailbreak where I talk to Kevin Bradley (aka nitoTV) about the history of Apple TV jailbreaking.

Read this if your new Apple TV is messing up your TV or receiver
Strange things started happening to my TV since first plugging in my new Apple TV a couple weeks ago, and while I didn't immediately connect the dots, it quickly became apparent that the new device was the culprit. After a bit of digging and a lot of commonsense, I figured out my problems and how to fix them. As often, the solution was just at the click of a button.
TravelCard: the ultra-thin charger that fits in your wallet
Leaving the house knowing your iPhone battery might not make it through the day is something we've all experienced. The easy solution is to bring your charger along, or even an external battery pack. That's great if you're out an about with a backpack or something where you can store the extra accessories. But what if you want to travel light? Enters TravelCard, an ultra-thin charger that will actually fit in your wallet.
Let’s Talk Jailbreak 133: A history of Apple TV jailbreaking, with Kevin Bradley
In this special episode, Sébastien sits down with Kevin Bradley (@nitoTV) to talk about the history of Apple TV jailbreaking, starting in 2007 with the device's first generation. Through more or less complex details, multiple anecdotes, and subtle Anchorman references, Kevin recounts what it's been like to be part of that history as he shares insights about where things might go in the future.

Hands on with Cuff and Double Tour Hermès Apple Watch knockoff bands
After taking a look at five Apple Watch band knockoffs last week, I want to talk to you about two additional knockoffs I recently received: the Cuff and Double Tour. Directly inspired by (read ripped off) the official Hermès bands for Apple Watch, these two bands are available at a fraction of the price. But is it a good deal?
Tweaks of the week: LockBeam, Aeternum Hives, and more
Like every Sunday, we bring the newest jailbreak tweaks directly to you so you don't have to spend time scrolling down Cydia looking for what's new. Everything's here in one convenient list for you to peruse.
This week wasn't very eventful on the jailbreak tweaks front, with a number of releases that definitely won't shake the community. Still, we're grateful for all these developers pushing new tweaks and allowing us to do much more with our iPhones than Apple intends us to.

The million dollar jailbreak you can’t have
Vulnerability and exploit acquisition platform Zerodium announced today that the million dollar bounty it had put together has expired, noting that a team of researchers has won the prize. Launched in September of this year, the bounty program aimed at rewarding anyone one who would come forward with an "exclusive, browser-based, and untethered jailbreak for the latest Apple iOS 9 operating system and devices."
It looks like they have their winners, as a team who made a remote browser-based iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 beta untethered jailbreak has apparently come forward. But don't get your hopes too high.
Tweaks of the week: Popcorn, Tactful, and more…
Now that Apple has stopped signing iOS 9.0.2, any chance to downgrade to that firmware version has gone down the drain, so we sure hope you did what you had to do when it was still possible to do it.
This week saw once again a solid amount of jailbreak tweak releases. We're still waiting for "the" tweak for iOS 9, but until then, all these smaller releases will do just fine.
In this post, we list all the tweaks that were released this week on Cydia. Check them out, and tell us which ones are your favorites.
iOS 9.0.2 is no longer being signed by Apple, downgrading now impossible
Apple has stopped signing all versions of iOS 9.0.2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch this afternoon. As always, the closing of this signing window makes downgrading to this software version impossible.
Users who jailbreak their devices are the ones to get most likely affected by this situation. With downgrading now impossible, jailbreak users must be careful to not accidentally update to iOS 9.1 and lose their jailbreak in the process.
