JailbreakCon to Be Held in California Next Summer

Yesterday we asked you to take a poll to help decide where JailbreakCon 2012 should be held. The results are in, and because it was the first to reach 1,000 votes, the great state of California is the winner. Yay!

Apple Schedules iTunes Match Reset for September 26

Just like they did last week with the reset of iCloud backups, Apple has now scheduled a reset of iTunes Match libraries for beta testers on September 26th 9AM PST. At that time, all iCloud libraries will be deleted.

To get ready for the big reset, you will simply have to turn iTunes Match off on your computer and iOS devices. Obviously, this will not affect any of the songs that are physically stored on your computer or your iDevice...

Samsung Caught Copying Apple.. Again!

Dear Samsung, If you're going to claim in court that Apple is copying your devices, then maybe you should think twice before creating a product that looks extremely similar to something Apple already made before, such as a phone charger.

Samsung, as you can see in the picture above, the USB AC charger you provide with the Galaxy S II closely resembles Apple's. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for your logo and the different color, we could think they're both the same...

Samsung Uses Apple Apps Icons to Decorate New Company Store

Defect in iPhone 5 Touch Panels Could Delay Launch

DigiTech is reporting today that iPhone 5 touch panel supplier Wintek might be encountering issues with the production of the panels, affecting initial shipment targets scheduled for October.

When asked about the issue, Wintek replied that all of its products are being "delivered on schedule."

Financial Times Web App More Popular Than Native Version

The Financial Times deliberately pulled its own app from the App Store a few months ago to focus on its own HTML 5 web app, through which the company could sell subscription to their digital content without having to play by Apple's rules.

iPad Set to Rule the Tablet Market Until 2014
