The OCDock, when iMac and iPhone become one [sponsored]

Even though Apple has no plan to release its own dock for the iPhone 5, we've seen plenty of third party alternatives that all look as creative as they are original. The OCDock by OCDesk is one of these docks that not only looks gorgeous, but seamlessly integrates with your iMac or Thunderbolt display. It's simple, it's beautiful. In short, it's something that Apple itself could have designed.

Today we sit down with Mart Jaetma, an OCDesk team member who is actively contributing to the development of the OCDock and its Kickstarter campaign. Mart tells us more about the OCDock, how it came to life, and why you should help fund his project...

Starbucks app finally updated to bring iPhone 5 support

Better late than never, as we say in French. Over two months after the iPhone 5 was launched in the US, Starbucks finally blessed us with an update that supports the device's taller screen.

Besides the iPhone 5 support and the usual bug fixes, this updated version added an option to turn On/Off the annoying sound of the stars dropping in the cup after completing a purchase...

My iPad mini review

I remember the first time I picked up my iPad 3. I was surprised how much thicker and heavier it was compared to the iPad 2. In my iPad 3 review, I wrote that even though the increased thickness and weight of the device are noticeable, I'd probably get over it in a matter of weeks. Several months later, I'm still not used to it, and to be honest, I'm completely turned off by my iPad 3.

The nail in the coffin came when I received a Nexus 7. This device was everything I needed to read, email, and tweet, which is pretty much all I'm doing on a tablet. In the end, the Nexus 7 didn't do it for me and I returned it, but it clearly showed that there was a device missing in my life. A device that is small, thin, and light. A device that would be just like an iPad, but smaller. Enters the iPad mini...

Apple corrects inaccurate statement regarding Samsung patent infringement ruling on its UK website

Apple just published a statement on its UK website to correct a previous apology that had been found inaccurate by the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. The statement can be found at the bottom of Apple UK website's home page, and links to a longer statement acknowledging that Samsung didn't copy the iPad.

This "updated" statement comes several days after Apple published a public apology on its website, at the request of the Court...
