This week, we right our wrong as we feature hand-selected Supercar wallpapers for iPhone. New Macbook wallpapers for iPad, iPhone, and Desktop

Last week, Apple surprised us with a completely redesigned MacBook. Of course, there were leaks in the months leading up to the event, but the new technology and form factor is very astonishing. With a thinner design, new keyboard, Force Touch trackpad, and micro logic board, it is clear Apple is pushing laptop computing forward. Even the USB-C is striking.

In the opening video, a glimmering bubble floats into the Retina MacBook screen corner, showing off color depth and a glass-edged screen. In this week's Wallpapers of the Week post, Jason Zigrino captures the bubble for all devices.

Apple Watch app icons wallpapers for iPhone, iPad, and desktop

Tomorrow, Apple pulls off the veil on Apple Watch final details. With the "Spring Forward" event, several years of speculation finally come to a point. Last week, several final pieces of information were leaked, but many more questions still remain.

Apple stands to completely disrupt the wearable device category, as it has done with both iPhone and iPad. While other competitors have the early jump, it could be possible for Apple Watch to become the new standard, to which all future wearable technologies are benchmarked. To celebrate, add these wallpapers today.

Apple Watch event wallpapers: Spring Forward

Last week, Apple sent media invitations to an event on March 9. It is widely expected the main subject will be the forthcoming Apple Watch, which Tim Cook announced will be available in April 2015. With the invitation reading "Spring Forward," it is much less cryptic than previous invite wording. "Spring forward" is a common phrase to help people remember to set their clocks forward, ending daylight savings time. The key here being the overt reference to a device telling time. Further, March 9 is the day after the end of daylight savings time.

Per usual, iDownloadBlog wants to help everyone celebrate the moment by highlighting event inspired wallpapers. Inside, you will find versions of the invitation for iPhone, iPad, and desktop.

Last week, we featured a set of simple geometric wallpapers and it became one of the most popular Wallpapers of the Week posts, ever! Thank you! Not coincidentally, the preamble to the post described geometric images as a top selection over the past year.

To tempt fate, allow us to try a repeat performance from a short seven days ago. From our research, there is one other wallpaper genre that outperforms all other genres on our wallpaper section: galaxies. Galaxies are a continually popular image set and we preset another curated list just past the fold. The Wallpapers of the Week series is advancing in age, and with age comes experience. We keep a close eye on the section and try to determine what readers enjoy, what is a habit, a preference, a hate. Of course, data provide quantitative numbers and comments provide qualitative feedback. Crossing the two, provides a path for further posts.

A zombie killing phenomenon, The Walking Dead winter season premier is tonight on AMC, for those viewers in the US. Now in season 5, the show is known for its dramatic thriller storyline that involves a group of once strangers surviving in a post-apocalyptic environment. As the name suggests, not only does the group struggles through personal relationships, but also continuously runs from zombies.

The show easily captures an environment without standard daily life, using vast sweeping shots of vacant territories, empty vehicles, and dilapidated buildings to emphasize the current destruction of mankind. The animal kingdom is a popular genre of both photographic and illustrated art. The selection today is an honor to the later. Hyperbole of animal emotion or just a play on their stereotypic behavior, the options below are both lively and solemn.

Although there is no particular reason for the selection this week, I must admit to having picked Donkey Kong Country back up on the old SNES. Certainly the splash image above was thought to be a good idea, based on my subconscious reexcitement for the furry fellow.

The annual event where everyone in America acts like they loved football year round. For die hard fans, Super Bowl XLIX is the culmination of a destiny for their chosen team. After many Sundays and Mondays of ceaselessly cheering, the Super Bowl is a proving grounds for only the top two NFL teams.

In stark contrast, many more Americans crowd around the TV for plenty of beer, hot wings, nachos, beanie weenies, peanut butter filled pretzels, potato chips, and the commercials.
