Every Sunday, iDownloadBlog brings you a fresh set of iOS device wallpapers for the Wallpapers of the Week section. One of the quickest and easiest, non-jailbreak, ways to change the look and mood of your device, is to keep an ever changing library of fresh images ready for the moment.

The section contains images from a myriad of places around the web, including user submissions and original pieces. Today's images focus on abstract portraits, modern images that are not solely focused on the subject, but the environment they portray.

Apple’s official recycling program wallpapers

During the March keynote, Apple emphasized the company's commitment to reducing its impact on the environment, even including a video of their Liam robot, which carefully takes apart recycled iPhones. Recently, Apple also bolstered their in-store trade-in program, allowing users to bring in older devices for upgrades, receiving credit for their purchase.

As we approach Earth Day, Apple is offering exclusive wallpapers for customers who decide to trade-in their device. Luckily, we can all enjoy their customized wallpapers, as they are hosted on a publicly accessible Apple website via apple.com/recycling/thanks. iPhone SE and iPad Pro wallpapers

We are excited to bring you a spectacular set of images for Wallpapers of the Week. Last Monday, Apple announced iPhone SE and the new iPad Pro, which comes now in 9.7" versions. Once the devices were highlighted on the website, several new wallpapers appeared on the device advertisements. Only a couple of hours later, I was getting pinged with hopeful iDB readers, trying to download the new images.

Thanks to some work from our loyal readers, I was able to snag these wallpapers and am excited to offer them to you. Not only are the advertised wallpapers included below, you can also download wallpaper versions from the shot-on iPhone SE image gallery, which is featured on the Apple product page. Next week, Apple is set to reveal new hardware to its line up. With media invitations announcing the March 21 event, speculation continues to mount. Expected hardware allegedly includes the anticipated 4" flagship iPhone SE, a 9.7" iPad Pro, formerly the iPad Air, and likely new bands for Apple Watch. Some are calling the forthcoming event a sleeper, but once Tim Cooks steps on stage, there could be some surprises.

March 21 Apple event wallpapers: “Let us loop you in”

On Thursday, March 10, Apple sent invitations for their media event, "Let us loop you in," to be held on Monday, March 21. The event is said to reveal a completely new handset, dubbed the iPhone SE. In addition, a refresh of the iPad Air is expected to bring the device more in-line with iPad Pro. Finally, there is a potential for new Apple Watch accessories, specifically bands, and updates to the operating systems for OS X, iOS, and Watch OS.

The invitation, which always includes an image, will no doubt send the blogosphere reeling with guesses about hidden images that are allegedly included. Gathering a short list of cityscape wallpapers, the images were curated from individual profiles via Interfacelift.com. Including modern industrial to vintage Venice, this week's selection highlights some incredible photography skills.

Joli Originals offers a premium leather sleeve for iPad Pro

Recently, finding time in my schedule to offer a review has been very difficult. However, some products just beg to have a closer look and Joli Original's iPad sleeve for iPad Pro is one of those accessories. After receiving my iPad Pro, I began the quest to find a protective covering, but was not interested in Apple's expensive cases or the Smart Keyboard. As a fan of using naked devices, I was only looking for a simple, protective case when I found Joli Originals.

After browsing the product site, I felt like a sleeve was the best way of protecting my iPad Pro, but still giving me quick access to the device in its truest form. Based on the product images, I was convinced the Smooth Collection was a high quality sleeve, that would very well match the premium experience of the iPad Pro. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and this case certainly fits the bill.
