As quickly as the round up ended, I began getting requests for the new wallpapers via @jim_gresham, which I use to gather images for iDB's Wallpapers of the Week. If you have any leads, send them my way.

Thankfully, due to the Twitter community, we are able to present you with the iOS 10 wallpapers for iPhone and iPad, in the article below.

Even more great WWDC 2016 wallpapers

On WWDC 2016 eve, many rumors are piling up about tomorrow's event. We covered a full round up of expectations to get you reading for the big day. Personally, I'm most excited about what a new watchOS could bring to the wrist. My fingers are crossed for a watch face library that can be submitted by independent designers and developers. A little more control over the complications would be great!

As we wait these final hours, take a step inside for one last round of WWDC wallpapers. Everyone has been kind to share them as they are completed, by catching me on Twitter @jim_gresham. If you would like to share walls in the future, just catch me there. But today, step inside for two more sets of WWDC goodness.

Retro Apple Logo WWDC 2016 wallpapers

Every Sunday, we utilize the Wallpapers of the Week section to highlight great background-worthy pictures and images. Whenever Apple hosts a media event, the Internet lights up with invitation-inspired graphics, that often make excellent wallpapers.

Apple used a retro looking script based invitation for the upcoming WWDC event, leading pundits to assume the event may only contain software updates. Inside you will find wallpapers, for iPhone, iPad, and desktop, that pay homage to the upcoming event.

Of the running Wallpapers of the Week section, Star Wars wallpapers are among the most popular. Today's collection features fan art in the noir and minimalist categories, taking a new spin on our previous Star Wars wallpaper posts.

There are a myriad of images amongst the vast Internet, but we ensure they are photo quality and perfectly scaled for your iOS, and sometimes desktop, devices.

The section is completed with images found around the Web, submitted to us directly, or stumbled upon through Twitter. Today, we highlight a long-time iDB fan favorite wallpaper creator, Jason Zigrino. Step inside for his latest.

Wallpapers of the week: bokeh

The Wallpapers of the Week section brings new images to your iOS devices each Sunday. Through the section, we highlight original works, photography, curated selections, and themed images. This week's post features an old favorite from the days of skeuomorphism. Not to say the bokeh imagery is itself skeuomorphic, but the wallpaper style is much more pre-iOS 7 in  nature.

However, everyone loves a good throwback and what better way than with some high quality bokeh iPhone wallpapers? Flat design is the new thing, but celebrate depth of field with these light captured images.

Wallpapers of the week: sky

Our continuing Wallpapers of the Week section intends to provide quality images for your iOS devices every Sunday afternoon. The section focuses on iPhone wallpapers, but we have been known to throw in some desktop or iPad wallpapers along the way.

Aside from jailbreaking, changing your device wallpaper is one of the quickest and easiest ways to customize your experience. This week, download natural beauty, as each image focuses on the sky.

HTC Sense 8 wallpapers for iPhone

The Wallpapers of the Week series is a dedicated iDB section that brings you quality wallpaper posts, every Sunday. We try to cover the full spectrum of imagery, from still shots, to naturescapes, to original digital creations.

It seems somewhat sacrilegious to host other system wallpapers on a site dedicated to Apple, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to steal some inspiration. Today's selection comes from the HTC Sense 8. Step inside to download the new wallpapers and be comforted knowing you don't have to own an HTC to enjoy them.
