Want to launch apps, reboot, respring, or turn off your iDevice right from your Spotlight search? If so, then all you need is a jailbroken device with CommandSpot installed.

CommandSpot is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to execute specific commands to launch apps, Twitter, Facebook, and quite a few other things. It's not the most efficient way to perform these functions, but it can be done nonetheless.

How to Watch Hulu on the Apple TV

You've probably heard that rumors that an official Hulu app for the Apple TV is complete and ready to go, yet Apple is holding it back from being released. Apple is worried about Hulu+ eating into its iTunes sales, so the app has been placed on hold indefinitely.

For Hulu fans, that's quite disappointing, especially considering the service is available on pretty much every other platform known to man, including the iPad, and iPhone.

But there is a way to get Hulu running on the Apple TV right now. This guide will show you how to take advantage of the Seas0nPass jailbreak so that you can watch Hulu Plus on your Apple TV.

4 Pointless Jailbreak Tweaks For the iPhone

Every week, there are many new jailbreak apps and tweaks released on Cydia. Some are very good, and some are absolute game changers like IntelliScreenX, Blutrol, and others. Some aren't exactly groundbreaking, but add great functionality to your device like Snappy5. Others are run of the mill, and some are just downright head-scratchers.

This post is dedicated to the head-scratchers. The tweaks that leave you wondering why? How? And reek of absolute pointlessness!

Every so often we'll create a post that highlights some of the most pointless jailbreak tweaks of the moment. We present you with the first batch of four...

Snappy5: The Fastest Way to Snap Pictures With Your iPhone

I know I'm not alone in my predicament, but I can't count the number of times I've missed a good photo opportunity because I was either too slow on the draw, or iOS itself was too slow to load the camera UI.

Snappy5 is a tweak that aims to minimize, if not eliminate that annoying issue. It works by using Activator to quickly pull up the Camera app and automatically snapping a photo or filming a video.

If you find yourself missing a lot of great memories, then you definitely want to check this out...

How to Search YouTube From Notification Center

After the deluge of Notification Center tweaks that were made available right after iOS 5's release, the amount of tweaks targeting iOS 5's crown jewel has stymied off significantly.

That's not to say that there are no Notification Center tweaks being made — YouTube Search for Notification Center is evidence that they still are — but since there are less, I tend to put the more recent releases under the microscope a bit more.

With that in mind, how does YouTube Search for Notification Center stack up?

AllMail: Add Mass Mail Options to the Stock Mail App

AllMail is a jailbreak tweak that adds a variety of "mass edit" options to the stock Mail app. For instance, you can select all, delete all, and even hide all emails in one swift motion.

Although iOS 5 has brought some improvements to the Mail app, it's still a lot better when accompanied by jailbreak tweaks like AllMail and others...

SuperSwitcher: Supercharge Your iPhone’s App Switcher

Apple's App Switcher is a bit on the anemic side when it comes to features. Proof of that comes from the wasted real estate that sits above of your App Switcher just dying to be utilized.

Of course, leave it to the jailbreak community to actually make good use of this wasted space. That's exactly what SuperSwitcher aims to do, and as you'll see inside, it does it quite well...

Compose and Reply to Messages From Anywhere With Messages+

Messages+ is the standalone SMS messaging tweak from Intelliborn, the same crew behind the amazing IntelliScreenX. In fact, Messages+ is actually a big part of IntelliScreenX — it was included along with IntelliScreenX free of charge.

Why would anyone buy Messages+ alone when you can get it with another great jailbreak app for $2.00 more? Let's take a look...
