iOS 5.1 to launch with new Notes app?

iOS 5.1 is rumored to launch around the same time as the iPad 3, with an abundance of new features. The new features include Japanese language support for Siri, a new camera slide button on the home screen, and the possibility of Siri support on the iPad 3. iOS 5.1 has been in beta for quite awhile, but hasn't hinted at any of these features.

iPhone Hellas has reportedly obtained a screenshot of a new robust note taking app that will be launched on iOS 5.1.

After the iPhone 4 was first launched, many users began to notice 3G reception issues when placing their palm over the antenna part of their iPhone 4. The issue was quickly dubbed the "antennagate" by bloggers.

While also receiving many complaints from customers and a few lawsuits, Apple quickly made free iPhone bumper cases available to everyone, which they said remedied the issue. The issue was fixed in iPhone 4s manufactured later.

Meijer drops the price of the iPad 2 to $429, ahead of iPad 3

As the iPad 3 launch comes closer this Spring, retailer Meijer has dropped the price of the iPad 2 by $70, to $429. Meijer will be offering the deal from February 12 - 18 according to one ad, and February 12 - 25 according to the listing of the iPad 2 on Meijer's website.
