Apple's busy day of California Streaming included a couple of different instances of shooting down some rumors. That included those attached to the iPad mini. At least, as far as a release date is concerned. Most of the rumors regarding the design were right on cue, though.
The new, ninth-generation iPad is now official. It's available to order today if you're so inclined, and you'll get plenty of familiar elements to the larger tablet. However, Apple did make some key changes to the portable device.

What's up in the air, though, is whether or not we'll see any new iPad models showcased today, or if we'll see the third-generation AirPods for that matter.
Back in February of last year, Apple officially announced it had secured the streaming rights to a futuristic drama starring Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) and directed by Benjamin Cleary (Stutterer). It was described as a "genre-bending drama" at the time, but, unfortunately, there wasn't much else to go on. Certainly not a release date. But that's changing today.
