New photos show partially assembled iPhone 6

Some new photos surfaced this afternoon, showing what is believed to be a partially assembled iPhone 6. We've seen shots of standalone parts, like the front panel and rear shell, but this is the first time we've seen what they look like put together.

Assuming the parts are legitimate, these photos give us the best look we've seen thus far of Apple's latest flagship smartphone. The iPhone 6 is much thinner than its predecessor, with rounded corners, and various aspects of it have been redesigned...

Apple’s stock closes at record high of $100.56 per share

After hovering just under the $100 mark for several weeks, shares of Apple finally surpassed the mark today and closed at an all-time high of $100.56. That breaks the Cupertino company stock's previous closing record of $100.30, set on September 19, 2012 in the run up to the launch of the iPhone 5.

Today's news comes just a few months after Apple authorized a 7-1 stock split (before the split, today's closing price would be shown as $703.92), and amidst a barrage of rumors regarding the company's plans for product releases this fall which include two new iPhones and possibly a smartwatch...

Alleged reversible Lightning to USB iPhone 6 cable caught on video

Along with the many enhancements and improvements expected in the iPhone 6 this fall, the handset is also expected to ship with a new, reversible Lightning to USB cable. We've seen multiple photos of the alleged cable, and Apple even holds a patent for such a design.

Tonight comes more evidence of the theory, with frequent part-leaker Sonny Dickson posting a video showing the new cable in action. It appears to work similar to the Lightning side of the current cable, allowing the user to plug in the USB side, regardless of orientation...
