Apple yesterday published the Worldwide Developers Conference hub on YouTube, and you can elect to be reminded via a notification when the virtual keynote is about to be live-streamed.
Apple is not doing anything out of ordinary here because all YouTube creators have been able to schedule their streams for later for quite some time now. Scheduled streams may show up in subscribers’ feeds as upcoming and viewers can click the Set Reminder button on YouTube if they would like to receive a push notification when the stream is about to begin.
This is the first time an Apple event will be live-streamed on Google’s video platform (for viewers in China, the keynote will also stream on Tencent, iQIYI, Bilibili and Youku).
Aside from its official YouTube channel, Apple will also live-stream the virtual keynote from Apple Park via apple.com, the Apple Developer app (now available on macOS, too), the Apple Developer website and the Apple TV via the Apple Events tvOS app. Like in previous years, a replay video will be available for on-demand playback after the conclusion of the stream.
The keynote is set to begin next Monday, June 22 at 10am PT, 1pm ET.
