Learn how to seamlessly integrate your iPhone calls with your iPad and Mac, ensuring you never miss a call across devices.
There are many reasons to have your iPhone calls ring on your other devices. You might find it easier to keep working while you talk, or it might be convenient if your iPhone is on the charger.
Thanks to Apple’s well-knit ecosystem, you can have your iPhone incoming calls show up on your iPad or Mac. Then, you can pick up the call there and talk, all without touching your phone.
Before you get to the steps:
- Make sure you’re using the same Apple Account on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Make sure FaceTime is activated on all your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This is true even if your iPad is on iPadOS 26 and your Mac is on macOS Tahoe 26, with dedicated Phone apps.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, and Mac to the same Wi-Fi network and make sure they are nearby (like in the same room or house).
Receive iPhone calls on your iPad and Mac
- Open the iOS Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Apps from the bottom, and select Phone from the list of applications.
- Tap Calls on Other Devices.
- Turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices if it’s off. You’ll now see all your supported iPad and Mac listed here. Move the sliders to green for those devices where you want your iPhone calls to ring. You can also choose to get call notifications on your Apple TV.
After you have started the above feature, you can even open the Phone or FaceTime apps on your iPad or Mac and make regular phone calls. This call will piggyback on your iPhone’s cellular network.
