Impressively, Apple decided to include the new A19 Pro chip inside iPhone Air, which is also onboard the more expensive pro models. A19 Pro is the fastest CPU in any smartphone according to Apple, and includes the most advanced GPU to power through workflows, engage AAA games, and crunch AI computation.
The new C1X modem is also fast and power efficient, with the intention of saving battery life, but not at all costs. Apple alleges iPhone Air will offer 27 hours of video playback and can be charged up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Despite having a single camera lens, iPhone Air utilizes a 48MP Fusion camera, that operates like multiple advanced cameras in a single hardware unit. Images can be captured in 48MP or 24MP and includes a 2x Telephoto zoom. Videos can be captured in 4K 60fps and OIS keeps everything from jumping.
Like iPhone 17 Pro devices, iPhone Air includes Dual Capture video, simultaneously recording from both the backward and front facing cameras.
