The all new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro devices were announced today through a live stream of a previously recorded video experience. Tim Cook and team cheered the upcoming devices, which boast several new key hardware features. Additionally, the devices each have a color match wallpaper. iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro stock wallpapers
iPhone 17 Pro features a new unibody enclosure, including the Camera Plateau, Apple’s nomenclature for the camera housing colloquially referred to as “the camera bump.” Apple claims the unibody enclosure allows for increased performance, specifically related to battery capacity and durability. Assisting in performance is the vapor chamber, which contains deionized water capable of moving heat away from the new A19 Pro chip.
Inside the camera bump, …sorry, “Camera Plateau,” you will find a new 8x optical-quality zoom. This is the longest iPhone Telephoto camera. It is coupled with a 56% larger sensor. Even the front camera receives upgrades with an 18MP capability and Center Stage automatic image tracking.
Most importantly, as it relates to our wallpaper community, the display comes in a 6.3 inch and 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR variant, with updated anti-reflection capability. The display is covered in Ceramic Shield 2, a proprietary surface reinforcement providing 3x better scratch resistance that previous models.
