Whether it’s the super heavy-lift launch vehicle taking off from the launch site powered by nearly three dozen engines, catching the booster mid-air, or the rocket blowing up in flames (officially called rapid unscheduled disassembly), each Starship test launch is undoubtedly an exciting event to watch!
If you’re a fan of rockets, space technology, and the excellence of the human mind in general, these amazing Starship wallpapers are sure to fit your digital screens, be it your smartphone or a big computer screen.

Most of the Starship wallpapers featured here are sourced from the official @SpaceX account on X.
A few of them are from @johnkrausphotos and @AJamesMcCarthy, two people who have a history of capturing some of the best shots of various rocket launches.
And finally, I’ve also extracted a few Starship images and renders from SpaceX’s official website, using the tip mentioned here.
The wallpaper collection here features tall wallpapers that are perfect for smartphone screens as well as wide pictures that work great as desktop backgrounds.
While working on this Starship wallpaper post, I initially thought to crop each wide wallpaper to the correct dimensions to fit an iPhone or Android phone screen. However, I eventually decided to leave them as they are, because then you have the freedom to adjust the image accordingly and use the desired part of the wide image as your Lock Screen background.
That said, here are 29 wallpapers to spice up the look of your iPhone, iPad, Android phone, and PC. We’ve updated this collection with some of the best photos from Starship’s recent 14th test flight, which reached orbit on its first attempt and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites (reaching orbit wasn’t one of SpaceX’s goals for the previous 13 Starship test flights).
Starship dynamic wallpaper
Pietro (@pietrozullo) used Codex to enhance SpaceX’s first orbital flight wallpaper (that you see above) and turn it into a dynamic wallpaper for Mac. You can grab the dynamic wallpaper from his post on X.
Or download the images below and turn them into a dynamic wallpaper that changes throughout the day. You could also just use them as still wallpapers or have them shuffle throughout the day.
While Starship — the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed — is still in its test stage and will remain so for a while, it has enormous shoes to fill as the successor to Falcon 9, the latter of which is one of the most reliable and highly successful launch vehicles of all time!
We’ll soon curate a wallpaper collection for Falcon 9. So, be sure to follow us on X @iDownloadBlog. And if you’ve some wallpaper suggestions or would like to feature your own creation, send me a DM at @iAnkurThakur.
