The new Blade 2 power bank from Baseus, showcased at CES 2024, has arrived featuring a capacity of 12000mAh and dual USB-C ports for simultaneous charging.
One puts out 45W and the other 20W for a total of 65W, with Baseus’s last Power Split 2.0 technology intelligently distributing power across the ports.
The accessory packs enough juice to top up a 13-inch MacBook Air, charge your iPhone and iPad at the same time or fully recharge an iPhone 15 more than two times over. It can also charge other USB-C devices, like AirPods Pro, Steam Deck, etc.
The Baseus Blade 2 Ultra-Thin Laptop Power Bank, as it’s named, has a flat body and a silky smooth feel giving it a premium appearance. Best of all, it’s live now on Amazon with a 20 percent launch discount, bringing the price down to $80.
Baseus launches a new Blade 2 power bank
It’s really thin and light, weighing about 323 grams (approximately eleven ounces) and measuring only 10.2mm deep (0.4 inches), with the thinnest part only 7.3mm (0.3 inches). In other words, it’s thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (8.25mm or 0.32 inches) and the 13-inch MacBook Air (11.3mm or 0.44 inches).
The internal battery cell is only 5.5mm, Baseus claims in a press release. Thanks to its ultra-thin appearance, the device fits in any tech bag without taking up space or bulging. For further information, visit the Baseus website.
Supports a variety of fast-charging protocols
Unlike many other power banks, the Blade 2 has a power button that allows you to turn it on or off. Another nice touch is an integrated display that shows real-time status information, such as the remaining battery, charging time, power stats, etc.
It supports all the fast-charging protocols you could wish for, from the USB Power Delivery protocol that Apple uses in its devices to SCP, QC, FCP, AFC and beyond.
The Blade 2 even has an optional iOS app available on the App Store that you can download to control and manage the power bank over Bluetooth.
Pricing and availability
The Baseus Blade 2 Ultra-Thin Laptop Power Bank is available in three color finishes, named Horizon Silver, Mariana Blue and Sandstone Orange, and retails for about $100. To celebrate the launch, however, Baseus offers an on-page coupon on Amazon that can be redeemed to bring the price down to $80.
