More compact than Apple’s official travel case, Waterfield’s Vision Pro protective case looks nicer and offers more functional protection and features.

Available in leather ($159) and vegan ($179) options in six colors, the 5-liter Waterfield Shield Case is half the size of Apple’s $200 Vision Pro Travel Case.
By taking advantage of Vision Pro’s modular design with detachable parts, the Shield Case manages to keep all of the components of your Apple headset in pristine condition while looking more professional compared with Apple’s case.
The plush, padded interior cushions the headset against bumps and scratches, and a separate pouch holds accessories while keeping the headset nestled in place.
WaterField Designs launches Shield Case for Vision Pro
Company owner Gary Waterfield said that an internal survey of early adopters revealed the need for a compact carrying case for Vision Pro with an indiscreet look. “I think our designers have knocked this one out of the park—it’s compact, protective and elegant,” he was quoted as saying in a press release.

Thoughtful design solutions
Waterfield says closed-cell foam on all sides disperses external forces and resists compression, with scratch-free fleece lining adding another layer of protection.

Pricing and availability
The case comes in vegan ($159) and leather ($179), in six color finishes: black ballistic nylon with leather in black, white or distressed chocolate; tan waxed canvas with distressed chocolate leather; blue Forza textile; and all black ballistic nylon.

Waterfield, a San Francisco original
WaterField designs and sells premium bags, sleeves and cases using top-grade materials that can withstand the rigors of travel, commuting or just hanging around.
Unlike many of its rivals, the San Francisco-based company doesn’t outsource manufacturing to China to ensure its products are made just right.
Waterfield’s recent launches a laptop backpack with a hidden AirTag slot, along with a TSA-friendly travel bag that provides dedicated compartments for your clothes, laptops, tablets, smartphones and other tech accessories.
