WaterField Designs launches Shield Case for Vision Pro
Company owner Gary Waterfield said that an internal survey of early adopters revealed the need for a compact carrying case for Vision Pro with an indiscreet look. “I think our designers have knocked this one out of the park—it’s compact, protective and elegant,” he was quoted as saying in a press release.
The accessory pouch fits into the curve of the headset and protects Vision Pro’s rear with its padding. It features a pair of Ultrasuede pockets to hold your Zeiss lens inserts and space to hold the USB-C 30-watt power adapter, charging cable, both head straps and polishing cloth that come in the Vision Pro box.
Such a design allows the headset to sit cradled on one side and the accessory pouch inside the headset’s curve on the other. There’s also a padded battery pocket under the flap, which keeps the battery’s weight weight away from the headset.
Thoughtful design solutions
Waterfield says closed-cell foam on all sides disperses external forces and resists compression, with scratch-free fleece lining adding another layer of protection.
Hold on. Won’t those waterproof YKK zippers scratch the sensitive cover glass of Vision Pro? That’s a no, because Waterfield has designed a cushioned zipper guard that serves as a protective barrier between the zippers and case contents.
Another thoughtful detail I like about the Shield Case is its front pocket for storing items like your AirPods Pro, additional cords or an extra Vision Pro battery.
Yes, there’s a stealth AirTag pocket to track the case if it gets lost or misplaced! And lastly, there are D-rings for hooking an optional shoulder strap.

The case comes in vegan ($159) and leather ($179), in six color finishes: black ballistic nylon with leather in black, white or distressed chocolate; tan waxed canvas with distressed chocolate leather; blue Forza textile; and all black ballistic nylon.
You can pre-order your Vision Pro Shield Case from the WaterField Designs website optionally configuring it with a front panel in sumptuous, full-grain leather. Vegan versions will arrive on February 15 and leather ones will drop on February 22.
