Meowbrek2 re-jailbreaking utility for palera1n updated to v1.1.4-beta with puaf_landa support

The meowbrek2 re-jailbreaking utility for A9-A11 devices running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.7.6 that are jailbroken via the palera1n jailbreak tool was updated to version 1.1.4 beta Friday afternoon.

meowbrek2 v1.1.4 beta released.

The latest build was announced via the official Discord server by project lead developer @dora2ios, and it appears to introduce the following changes:

– Add support for the puaf_landa method
– Fix offsetfinder bugs
– Add more people to the credits
– Change the offsetfinder scheme
– Add base bin compression

As a sideloadable .ipa file, meowbrek2 can be installed using any sideloading method including AltStore or Sideloadly, or it can be perma-signed with TrollStore. We recommend the latter since it stays signed indefinitely that way.

Existing users can install the latest .ipa right over over their existing installation without any issues to overwrite it and take advantage of the latest bug fixes and improvements. Re-jailbreaking afterward will be required.

If you haven’t used meowbrek2, and you’re interested in giving it a try, then all you need to do is sideload or perma-sign the re-jailbreaking utility on a device jailbroken with palera1n and run it to effectively turn your semi-tethered jailbreak into a semi-untethered jailbreak.

The meowbrek2 utility takes advantage of the kernel file descriptor (kfd) exploit to work its magic.
