Just as the name implies, this jailbreak tweak translates phone calls from one language to another in real time. The tweak does this in less than a second and works flawlessly with the Phone app, the FaceTime app, and CallKit-compatible apps.
How does it work? Well, there’s a lot happening in the background, but the short of it is that Live Call Translator recognizes speech from both parties and then verbalizes it in the user-selected translated language so that both callers can understand what’s being said.
You can use your language to speak to the other party as you normally would, and the tweak will translate your speech into automated speech that the other party can understand. Likewise, the same happens for you. With that in mind, even if the person on the other end of the call doesn’t have a jailbroken iPhone, the both of you can still benefit from this tweak.
