One of the things that has always bugged me about any stock iOS installation is how the native Phone app doesn’t color-code the recent call list in the Recents tab.
A free jailbreak tweak called Call Enhancer 15 by iOS developer AnubisTweaks answers the call (pun intended) by giving special colors to different items in the Phone app’s Recents tab.
As depicted in the screenshot example above, color codes are applied on the following basis:
- Outgoing calls marked Green
- Incoming missed calls marked red
- Incoming answered calls marked blue
What I like about this tweak is that I can more easily discern whether a call was picked up or not, which helps me determine if I need to respond or not.
Outgoing phone calls have always displayed an outgoing call icon in this list, but the color-coding makes it easier to see at a glance.
With no options to configure, this no-nonsense tweak is perfect for enhancing your Phone app on any jailbroken iOS 15 device running a rootless jailbreak such as Dopamine, palera1n, or XinaA15 v2.
