XinaA15 v2.0.17 brings fix for photo permission issues, randomized directories to avert jailbreak detection

The XinaA15 v2 jailbreak received another update on Friday, this time to version 2.0.17 with even more improvements to benefit end users.

XinaA15 v2 white UI.

Citing the change log posted to the official XinaA15 v2 website, the latest version introduces the following changes:

– Fix photo permission issues
– After rebuilding the jailbreak environment, random directories will be enabled to ensure that the LinTui state can open the individual software that cannot be blocked

In addition to addressing an issue that could have resulted in photo permission issues, today’s update also appears to incorporate some type of jailbreak detection bypass feature so that certain banking apps can open. It achieves this through randomized directories.

Interestingly enough, when you use the RootHide jailbreak detection bypass on the Dopamine jailbreak, something similar to the directory happens. That said, it will be interesting to see how effective the XinaA15 v2 method is.

If you’re an existing XinaA15 v2 user, updating is simple enough — just download the latest .ipa from the https://apt.xina.vip/ website and install it over your existing installation.

If you’re not already using XinaA15 v2, then you can follow our step-by-step tutorial to get started with it. XinaA15 v2 is a rootless jailbreak for A12-A15 devices that supports iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1.
