The XinaA15 v2 jailbreak for A12-A15 chip-equipped devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 picked up a second update this week with bug fixes and improvements, officially bringing it up to version 2.0.15.
The latest version, announced in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) by lead developer Zhu Xinlang (@xina520) Tuesday afternoon, appears to incorporate the following changes:
– Fix pink screen in safe mode
– Fix the pink screen issue with bindfs command above iOS 15.2
– Fix the issue of some people’s fonts being restored
– Other optimizations
XinaA15 v2 is a completely different jailbreak than the original XinaA15, and was built using the Fugu15 Rootful developer jailbreak by Linus Henze, albeit made to be rootless such that it works with the latest jailbreak tweaks and dynamics.
Similarly to Dopamine, XinaA15 v2 supports only arm64e devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 and can be perma-signed with the TrollStore utility, but if you prefer, you can also use sideloading methods such as AltStore or Sideloadly.
If you’re not already using the latest version, then we highly recommend updating to it. Some of the pink screen issues and other bugs have been resolved, making this a more stable release candidate than either of the first two releases.
