Add handy device power cycle options to Control Center with CCPowerMenu

Anyone who appreciates convenience will have no problem taking a liking to a new and free jailbreak tweak release called CCPowerMenu by iOS developer MTAC.

In a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend, MTAC expressed missing a jailbreak tweak called PowerModule for Control Center, and so he made his own alternative that works with modern jailbreaks — the result was CCPowerMenu.

As you can see in the screenshot examples above, the tweak utilizes CCSupport to add a new custom module to Control Center. You can then 3D Touch or Haptic Touch on the new button to reveal the expanded module that contains options such as:

  • Respring
  • Restart
  • Shut Down
  • Reboot Userspace
  • Enter Safe Mode

To enable the CCPowerMenu add-on post-installation, users must navigate to the Control Center preference pane in the Settings app and drag the new module into the enabled section. You can also tap on the module to enable or disable certain options or rearrange them as they appear in the module:

CCPowerModule is available as a free download from MTAC’s personal repository and supports jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 14, 15, and 16 devices, including the rootless varieties.

If you’re not currently using MTAC’s personal repository, then you can add it to your package manager app of choice by using the URL provided below:
