Hot off the press is a new and free jailbreak tweak called TinyBars by iOS developer CydiaGeek that makes it easier to discern your cellular signal strength by utilizing eye-catching colors.
As you can see in the screenshot example above, TinyBars simply colorizes any active cellular signal bars in your Status Bar with the color green, leaving inactive cellular signal bars gray by comparison.
Once installed, users will find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where users can select their preferred color for the Status Bar’s cellular signal strength indicator bars:
Here, the user is able to configure the following options:
- Enable or disable custom cellular signal strength indicator colors
- Select an active bar color
- Select an inactive bar color
- Respring your device to save any changes you’ve made
If you’re even the slightest bit interested in giving TinyBars a try, then you can download it for free from the YouRepo repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 14, 15, and 16 iPhones — including rootless jailbreaks such as Dopamine and palera1n.
