Around a year ago, we showed you a jailbreak tweak called Cardculator by iOS developer sourcelocation, which allowed a user to summon a floating Calculator interface over the top of anything they were already doing on their iPhone.
Cardculator quickly became one of my most-used jailbreak tweaks because of the number of times I find myself multitasking and need fast access to a calculator when problem-solving, which is why I’m so excited to share that the tweak has been updated to support the rootless dynamic on the Dopamine jailbreak.
Cardculator can be invoked from Control Center using a special toggle button that must be turned on after installing. I prefer replacing the standard Calculator app shortcut with the Cardculator toggle, since it makes more sense to me.
One of the things worth noting about Cardculator is that it’s compatible with iPads in addition to iPhones, which means you can really take advantage of the massive screen real estate if you’ve jailbroken a larger Apple tablet.
If you haven’t already tried Cardculator, then I would strongly recommend doing so since it’s such a handy utility to have on hand, especially now that it’s compatible with the rootless Dopamine jailbreak.
