Dopamine jailbreak updated to v1.0.2 with further bug fixes & improvements

Following the Dopamine jailbreak tool’s first official update to version 1.0.1 early Wednesday afternoon, project lead developer Lars Fröder (opa334) followed up a few hours later with a second update to Dopamine that brought it up to version 1.0.2.

Dopamine v1.0.2 released.

As you might come to expect, Dopamine v1.0.2 hammers out some of the initial bugs that you’d come to expect from a new jailbreak release.

According to the change log, users can expect the following changes in this release:

– Fix system instability caused by forkfix regression (Fixes system freezes when connected to a WPA Enterprise Endpoint).
– Rename iDownload option to clarify it’s a Developer shell

Just like the previous update, existing Dopamine jailbreak users can install the latest release over the air (OTA) by way of the update button at the bottom of the app. Although the screenshots below are from the previous update, they do a great job of outlining what you should expect when following the update prompts:

If you’re not already an existing Dopamine user, then it’s obviously recommended that you install the latest version of the tool available initially. Dopamine can be downloaded for free from the project’s GitHub page where it’s also open source, or from the official website, the URL of which can be found below:

Dopamine is a rootless jailbreak for A12-A15 devices running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1. Not all jailbreak tweaks are compatible with rootless just yet. If you aren’t sure how to install Dopamine, then you can learn how in our step by step tutorial post.
