Dopamine jailbreak updated to v1.0.1 with bug fixes & improvements

After just releasing the Dopamine jailbreak tool for A12-A15 devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 late Tuesday night, developer Lars Fröder (opa334) has now pushed the tool’s first public update.

Dopamine v1.0.1 released.

In an announcement made on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, Fröder shared a GitHub link to Dopamine v1.0.1, along with instructions on how existing users can install it: by tapping the Update Available prompt at the bottom of the interface and then tapping the subsequent Update button under the change log:

How to update Dopamine jailbreak.

From what we can gather, installing Dopamine updates is possible over the air (OTA) without requiring the use of a computer or any third-party software, as the app is already permanently-signed on your device by way of TrollStore and it’s CoreTrust exploit entitlements.

The Dopamine GitHub page also reveals what’s new in Dopamine v1.0.1, to include the following:

– Fix Userspace reboot getting stuck when tweaks are disabled inside Dopamine app settings
– Attempt to fix an app crash

If you’re not already jailbroken with Dopamine, then you can follow the steps outlined in our detailed tutorial to get started. Keep in mind that only the iPhone XS and newer running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 are supported by Dopamine and that it’s a rootless jailbreak.

Dopamine is fully open-source on GitHub for anyone interested in seeing how it works under the hood. The official website for the jailbreak can be found below:
