TrollBox is an all-in-one utility for your favorite TrollStore add-ons

The TrollStore perma-signing utility used by various apps on devices running iOS & iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 betas) has gotten insanely popular over the past several months. Unfortunately, with most projects being hosted via individual GitHub pages instead of a centralized place, users strain in attempting to discover new apps to perma-sign with it.

TrollBox app user interface.

TrollBox aims to be the primary solution by bringing many of these projects together into a single app. It works by embedding several different functionalities seen in many other projects into the same interface so that users won’t be as inclined to install several different apps.

Currently, TrollBox supports each of the following:

  • AirSpam
  • Carrier changer
  • Location simulator
  • PassFace theming
  • Superviser
  • Gestures
  • Lock after respring
  • Wallpaper setter
  • Wallet image editor

But the list won’t end there; as the developer plans to add support for the following additional items:

  • Crash logger
  • Icon theming
  • Home Screen layout editing
  • Ringtone manager
  • Downgrader
  • Network manager
  • System info
  • Nonce setter
  • And more…

The developer behind TrollBox, c22dev, noted in the /r/jailbreak announcement post that the project is currently in its alpha stages, but is open to the general public to test and play with. Some of the features listed above are coming soon, while others will take longer to implement. In any case, the app is and always will be free to download from the developer’s GitHub page.

Personally, I love the idea of an app that brings everything all together. It means less clutter on my Home Screen and more happening in a single app. This brings the benefit of not having to follow dozens of separate projects and updating each one individually when an update comes out; rather, just monitoring a single project for updates.

Please note that TrollBox is intended for TrollStore only, so it only supports the devices that support TrollStore (jailbroken or not), namely those running iOS or iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 betas). Installing it is as easy as setting up TrollStore and then opening the .tipa file from the project’s GitHub page in the TrollStore app.
