T-Mobile is bundling Apple TV+ as part of its Magenta MAX plan

T-Mobile, which bills itself as the “Un-carrier,” offers up a lot of special perks for its customers. Especially those who pony up the cash for its most expensive (and popular) plan, Magenta MAX. That includes bundling streaming services into the mix, like Netflix for instance. And now it includes Apple’s own video streaming service as well.

Today, T-Mobile has announced that Magenta MAX customers will get Apple TV+ bundled with their plan at no additional cost. This is a $4.99 per month perk, as that’s what Apple TV+ typically costs for individual users. It’s certainly not the most expensive streaming plan out there, but getting it bundled for free is a great perk.

Per today’s press release:

Magenta MAX customers love streaming. So of course, we’re giving them more of what they love, because that’s just what the Un-carrier does,’ said Mike Sievert, CEO at T-Mobile. ‘It’s moves like this — giving customers more without asking more from them — that have made T-Mobile the value leader in wireless. Now, with America’s most-awarded 5G network, T-Mobile customers don’t have to choose between the best value and a great network.

This all goes into effect on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. And, as noted above, this specific perk is available for Magenta MAX customers. But regular Magenta customers aren’t being left out in the cold completely. T-Mobile confirmed today that Magenta customers can get Apple TV+ for free for six months.

Are you a T-Mobile customer who will take advantage of this new perk?
