For any Apple TV+ subscribers out there looking for another family-friendly series to jump into, Surfside Girls may just the ticket. The upcoming series is set to premiere in August, and, with it, bring some good old-fashioned treasure hunting to the streaming platform.
Surfside Girls stars YaYa Gosselin as Sam and Miya Cech as Jade. The two are set on just enjoying their time on the beach, especially considering it’s summer vacation. However, things take a turn when they meet a ghost. Laying out on the beach and catching some waves will have to wait as the pair jump head first into a mystery involving not only a pirate ship, but also cursed treasure.
The upcoming series also stars Spencer Hermes-Rebello, Adan Maverick Carcaño, Christine Lin, Sonita Henry, and Michelle Mao, among others. The first episode is set to premiere on Friday, August 19, 2022. The show is based on the graphic novel series of the same name written by Kim Dwinell.

Apple TV+ is definitely not shying away from the family-friendly content these days. Not that that’s a bad thing, of course. A full library is always a good thing, especially with a wide range of content for would-be viewers.
