Watch the trailer for the Apple TV+ family series ‘Best Foot Forward’ ahead of its July 22 premiere

While there was a bit of a lull throughout the year that was 2021, Apple has been working pretty consistently to bring new content to Apple TV+ on a pretty regular basis throughout 2022. And that trend continues leading into July, too, with a handful of new shows set to arrive. And that includes the family-friendly series Best Foot Forward.

The upcoming series, which will debut on Friday, July 22, 2022, is based on the memoir written by Josh Sundquist — which is also a best-selling book. It tells the story of Josh, played by Logan Marmino, who is transitioning from being homeschooled to going to a public school. What’s more, he’s the only kid on campus with a prosthetic leg.

Here’s Apple’s official description of the upcoming TV series:

Josh Dubin is thrilled to switch from homeschool to public school, and being the only kid with a prosthetic leg is a challenge he’s ready to face. As he carves out a place among his peers, his friends and family are with him every step of the way.

Best Foot Forward also stars Bridgit Kallal, Joy Suprano, Stephen Schneider, Peyton Jackson, and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, among others.

The first official trailer for the show showcases the family-friendly nature to be sure. And this is just one more entry in the expanding Apple TV+ library that aims to offer something to watch for the whole family. We’ll all get to check it out on July 22, 2022.
