For All Mankind is an alternative history sci-fi drama, a series that started out with a premise revolving around Russia being the first to send a human to the moon. From there, things have only expanded, with a lot more action taking place in space. And this exciting series is following that game plan with the upcoming third season.
Lucky for the fans of the series, the wait for the third season is almost over. Apple TV+ confirmed today that it will premiere on Friday, June 10, 2022. And, of course, along with the big announcement comes the first official trailer for the show. It gives us a good look at what to expect this season, with stars Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, and Jodi Balfour set to return.
The series also adds a new series regular with Edi Gathegi joining the cast. From today’s trailer reveal:
The ensemble cast returning for season three includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey W. Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, along with new series regular Edi Gathegi who will play Dev Ayesa, a charismatic visionary with his sights set on the stars.
With the upcoming season, we get a bit of a time jump, too. Now the series is set in the ’90s, and there is a new goal: Mars. This has always been one of the more ambitious shows on Apple TV+, even when the first season was focusing more on the personal drama. But, with the second season things definitely opened up, adding even more action to the mix.
The third season looks like it will be pretty exciting as well. Are you looking forward to checking this out when it arrives on June 10?
