Watch the trailer for season 5 of Apple TV+ series ‘Carpool Karaoke’ presenting the new guests

It might be hard to believe, but one of Apple’s original series for Apple TV+ is still alive and kicking. That’s right, Carpool Karaoke is still doing its thing, putting celebrities in vehicles and having them sing along to popular songs. And apparently we’re right on the cusp of the fifth season premiere!

Well, almost. Today’s big unveiling of the fifth season’s official trailer tells us that the newest season in the sing-along show is going to premiere on Friday, May 27. So, pretty close. The gist of the show is staying the same, where we see celebrities in various pairings sing together. There will be some antics outside of the vehicles, too.

In the past the show has presented folks like Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey, Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane, and others. This time around for the fifth season we’ve got the cast from HBO’s hit series The White Lotus (Sydney Sweeney, Alexandra Daddario, and Murray Bartlett) in one car; Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) paired with Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist) in another; and Zooey Deschanel (New Girl) and Jonathan Scott (Property Brothers) in one more for good measure.

There are a few other guests, too:

The stars sharing a car, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures this season include Simu Liu & Jessica Henwick; ‘White Lotus’ costars Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario & Sydney Sweeney; Anitta & Saweetie; Zooey Deschanel & Jonathan Scott, who first met on ‘Carpool Karaoke;’ Britt Baker, Christian Cage, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Will Hobbs, CM Punk and Ruby Soho of All Elite Wrestling; and Charli, Dixie, Heidi and Marc D’Amelio. Additional episodes will debut later this year.

So, another star-studded cast for the upcoming season. Which makes sense, considering there wouldn’t be much of a show if they couldn’t line up the talent. And apparently this show keeps eating up the streaming hours if Apple keeps bringing it back.

What about you? Have you been keeping up with Carpool Karaoke? Will you be checking out the upcoming season?
