Nomad is a well-known name for third-party accessories, especially when it comes to Apple products. And now the company is launching two new cover options for the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. One is a proper case, the other is a folio.
Today, Nomad has officially launched the Modern Leather Case and Modern Leather Folio. Both new accessories are designed for Apple’s latest iPad Pro models. Nomad has an option in either style for both the 11- and 12.9-inch variants.
Nomad’s offering each new case right now, with shipping set for two to three days after the order is placed. Here’s how the new accessories look and what they offer:
Modern Leather Case
The Modern Leather Case is what you’d expect, offering up plenty of protection with a pretty straightforward design. Of course, it’s Nomad, so the case features full grain leather that will develop a natural patina over time and use. The case itself is slim and lightweight, so it won’t add much bulk to your iPad Pro.
The Modern Leather Case features a built-in TPE bumper to help protect from drops, and there’s a dedicated space for the Apple Pencil so it can magnetically attach to the side of the iPad Pro and charge.
The Modern Leather Case is available for the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. It’s priced at $99.95 and $119.95, respectively. It’s available in either rustic brown or black.
Modern Leather Folio
The Modern Leather Folio offers up plenty of protection, as one might expect. But, unlike the Modern Leather Case, it offers up a built-in stand, after some proper folding. The folio is made from a high-grade polycarbonate body and features built-in TPU bumpers, all to help protect against accidental drops.
What’s more, the folio’s panels are reinforced fiberglass, offering up even more protection.
The Modern Folio also features premium leather that will develop a natural patina, it’s slim and lightweight, comes in rustic brown or black, and it has a magnetic folio closure. This means it also supports Apple’s wake and sleep features for the iPad Pro, when the folio is opened and closed.
It’s Apple Pencil compatible. It’s available now from Nomad’s website, priced at $149.95 and $169.95 for the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, respectively.
