Satechi 2-in-1 Headphone Stand packs a Qi charger
Announced at CES 2022, the new 2-in-1 Headphone Stand with Wireless Charger from Satechi, as it’s officially named, lets you charge both your AirPods Max (or any other pair of headphones with a headband) as well as your iPhone 13 or any other Qi smartphone. Just hang your headphones on the top of the stand, then connect an integrated cable to begin charging.https://9to5mac.com/2022/01/05/satechi-new-2-in-1-headphone-stand/
And with a handy cable management hook, you can simply wrap and store cords when not in use to keep your workspace tidy. Satechi has published a promotional video on Vimeo showing off the new headphone stand, which we’ve embedded right ahead.
Satechi writes in the video description:
Store and charge your AirPods Max in style with the Satechi 2-in-1 Headphone Stand with Wireless Charger. Features a sleek stainless-steel arm with padded grips, a USB-C port to keep your headset charged, and a convenient wireless charger to also power your iPhone 13 or AirPods Pro while you work. Complete with a convenient hook to help organize messy cables and an LED light to show when your wireless device is charging, the 2-in-1 Headphone Stand is more than just a home for your headset
As we said, this handy accessory also features a built-in wireless charger.
Versatile charging options, from USB-C to Qi
The Qi charger is integrated into the stand’s space gray-themed aluminum base. So not only can you top up tour AirPods Max or other headset through the wire but also wirelessly charge your iPhone or any other smartphone that’s compatible with the Qi standard.
Just rest your iPhone 13 on its back on the charging pad to regain juice.
Since this is a standard Qi wireless charger—albeit a bit slow for today’s standards at 7.5W—it also works with other Apple products like AirPods Pro. Aside from USB-C charging, you also get a second USB-C port for charging your AirPods Max or any pair of headphones, but you’ll need a USB-C to Lightning cable for that.
The 2-in-1 Headphone Stand with Wireless Charger is available to pre-order from the Satechi website for $79.99. For a limited-time only, use the code CES20 at checkout to save 20 percent until January 13.
The stand will start shipping later in January.
