Ted Lasso already has a holiday-themed episode as part of its latest season. But apparently that didn’t stop the creative crew behind the show from putting together something a little bit more. And that’s why we now have a holiday short film, which is animated.
That’s right, we now have an animated entry into the Ted Lasso canon. It’s made to look like a classic holiday animated spectacle, with small recreations of each character from the show. Which is why the original cast is still part of the festivities as well.
That includes Jason Sudeikis as Lasso himself, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard. Everyone’s here! And this quick episode, which measures in at a little over four minutes, is all about Lasso’s missing mustache.

The stop motion short film is pretty great, and offers up plenty of the comedy that’s present in the show itself.
For fans of the show, we know that a third season is in the works. The first two seasons are available now to watch in their entirety, though.
