Apple has shared a trailer for “Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues,” its new Apple TV+ holiday special starring Mariah Carey that’s debuting on December 3.

“Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues” is the tittle of a new Apple TV+ holiday special that banks on the popularity of singer, songwriter and actress Mariah Carey.
But don’t worry, this isn’t a repeat of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, Mariah’s irritating Christmas single that debuted on October 29, 1994 and went on to become one of the best-selling singles of all time and the best-selling holiday ringtone in the US.

The highly anticipated special will reveal the first and only performance of multi-Grammy Award-winning global icon Carey’s new single, “Fall in Love at Christmas,” on Apple TV+. Carey is joined by Grammy-nominated worldwide artist Khalid and Grammy-winning legend Kirk Franklin as they bring the spirit of Christmas to fans around the world. The Queen of Christmas will also ring in the holidays with a dazzling, new rendition of fan favorite, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
“Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues” will feature an exclusive interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and Carey, along with her 10-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, as they share favorite holiday moments, and Carey celebrates her beloved holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” and Apple TV+’s perennial smash hit, “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.”

“Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” was the first Christmas special with Mariah Carey for Apple TV+ which debuted on December 4, 2020 alongside a new single titled “Oh Santa!” A week later, the holiday special reached other streaming platforms, giving Apple TV+ a narrow window of exclusivity. The project cost the iPhone maker a reported five million bucks to film. It seems to have been well worth it because the Apple TV+ exclusive climbed to #1 in more than a hundred countries around the world. Seeing that kind of success, Apple instantly approved a follow-up with a much larger budget.
